SERVING ASCENSION, ASSUMPTION & ST. JAMES PARISHES

During the week of September 4-September 8, 2017, the following defendants pled guilty to various charges and were sentenced in the 23rd Judicial District Court, Parishes of Ascension, Assumption, and St. James.

Ascension Parish:

  1. Rayne Felton, 929 S Ashley Ave. Gonzales, LA., age 47, pled guilty to Possession of a Schedule II Controlled Dangerous Substance and was sentenced to 12 months at hard labor with the Louisiana Department of Corrections with credit for time served.  
  2. Connie Guidroz, 15536 Wax Rd. Greenwell Springs, LA., age 39, pled guilty to Possession of a Schedule II Controlled Dangerous Substance, Distribution or Possession of a Legend Drug without Prescription or Order, and Possession of a Schedule III Controlled Dangerous Substance. Guidroz was sentenced to 18 months at hard labor with the Louisiana Department of Corrections with credit for time served on each count, to run concurrent with one another. It was further ordered that the said sentence is to be suspended, and the defendant is to be placed on 18 months supervised probation.        
  3. Antonio Bein, 4584 Brown Rd. Darrow, LA., age 43, pled guilty to Possession with Intent to Distribute a Schedule I Controlled Dangerous Substance and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. On the charge of Possession with Intent to Distribute a Schedule I Controlled Dangerous Substance, Bein was sentenced to 6 years at hard labor with the Louisiana Department of Corrections with credit for time served. It was ordered that 3 years of the said sentence are to be served without benefit of parole, probation, or suspension of sentence. The remaining 3 years of the imposed sentence are to be suspended, and the defendant is to be placed on 3 years supervised probation. On the charge of Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, Bein was sentenced to 6 months in the parish jail with credit for time served. It was further ordered that the imposed sentences are to run concurrent with one another.
  4. Lannis Delmore, 38219 Hidden Point Dr. Geismar, LA., age 35, pled guilty to DWI 4th Offense and Possession of a Schedule II Controlled Dangerous Substance. On the charge of DWI 4th Offense, Delmore was sentenced to 10 years at hard labor with the Louisiana Department of Corrections with credit for time served. It was ordered that 5 years of the imposed sentence are to be served without benefit of parole, probation, or suspension of sentence. The remaining 5 years of the said sentence are to be suspended, and upon release from incarceration, the defendant is to be placed on 5 years supervised probation. On the charge of Possession of a Schedule II Controlled Dangerous Substance, Delmore was sentenced to 2 years at hard labor with the Louisiana Department of Corrections with credit for time served. The imposed sentences are to run concurrent with one another. 
  5. Bruce Latiolais, 18238 Brown Rd. III Prairieville, LA., age 30, pled guilty to Possession of a Schedule II Controlled Dangerous Substance, Possession of a Schedule I Controlled Dangerous Substance, and Resisting an Officer with Force or Violence. On the charge of Possession of a Schedule II Controlled Dangerous Substance, Latiolais was sentenced to 4 years at hard labor with the Louisiana Department of Corrections with credit for time served. On the charge of Possession of a Schedule I Controlled Dangerous substance, Latiolais was sentenced to 4 years at hard labor with the Louisiana Department of Corrections with credit for time served. On the charge of Resisting an Officer with Force or Violence, Latiolais was sentenced to 1 year at hard labor with the Louisiana Department of Corrections with credit for time served. It was ordered that the imposed sentences are to run concurrent with one another. The said sentence is to be suspended, and the defendant is to be placed on 4 years supervised probation.  
  6. Rachel Clements, 41234 Hwy 933 Prairieville, LA., age 47, pled guilty to Possession of a Schedule II Controlled Dangerous Substance and was sentenced to 18 months at hard labor with the Louisiana Department of Corrections with credit for time served, to be suspended, and placed on 18 months supervised probation.  
  7. Brigitte Becker, 43291 Elmo Cannon Rd. Gonzales, LA., age 62, pled guilty to Possession of a Schedule I Controlled Dangerous Substance and was sentenced to 4 years at hard labor with the Louisiana Department of Corrections with credit for time served, to be suspended, and placed on 4 years supervised probation.  
  8. Chelsea Borne, 12130 Chester Braud Rd. St. Amant, LA., age 24, pled guilty to Possession of a Schedule II Controlled Dangerous Substance (2 counts). Borne was sentenced to 18 months at hard labor with the Louisiana Department of Corrections with credit for time served on each count, to run concurrent with one another. It was further ordered that the said sentence is to be suspended, and Borne is to be placed on 18 months supervised probation.  
  9. Junior Ealouis, 15155 S Braud Rd. Prairieville, LA., age 37, pled guilty to Possession of a Schedule II Controlled Dangerous Substance and was sentenced to 18 months at hard labor with the Louisiana Department of Corrections with credit for time served, to be suspended, and placed on 18 months supervised probation.  
  10. Brandy Mitchell, 18228 Bill Morgan Rd. Prairieville, LA., age 32, pled guilty to Possession of a Schedule II Controlled Dangerous Substance and was sentenced to 18 months at hard labor with the Louisiana Department of Corrections with credit for time served, to be suspended, and placed on 18 months supervised probation.  
  11. Kimberly Foster, 13587 Diversion Canal Rd. St. Amant, LA., age 37, pled guilty to Possession or Distribution of a Legend Drug without Prescription or Order, Possession with Intent to Distribute a Schedule IV Controlled Dangerous Substance, and Possession with Intent to Distribute a Schedule II Controlled Dangerous Substance. Foster was sentenced to 2 years at hard labor with the Louisiana Department of Corrections with credit for time served on each count. It was ordered that the imposed sentences are to run concurrent with one another. It was further ordered that the said sentence is to be suspended, and the defendant is to be placed on 2 years supervised probation.

Assumption Parish:

Assumption Parish had no court news to report this week.

St. James Parish:

  1.  Ryan Millet, 19457 Simon Dr. Vacherie, LA., age 25, pled guilty to Possession of a Schedule II Controlled Dangerous Substance and was sentenced to 5 years with the Louisiana Department of Corrections with credit for time served, to be suspended, and placed on 5 years supervised probation.
  2. Jermaine White, 8252 Hargis St. Convent, LA., age 30, pled guilty on April 24, 2017 to Indecent Behavior with a Juvenile. Sentencing was deferred pending a Pre-Sentence Investigation. On September 5, 2017, White appeared in court for sentencing. White was sentenced to 15 years at hard labor with the Louisiana Department of Corrections with credit for time served. It was ordered that the first 2 years of the imposed sentence are to be served without benefit of parole, probation, or suspension of sentence.

  1. Christy Dubois, 114 Ashley Dr. Houma, LA., age 35, pled guilty to Possession of a Schedule IV Controlled Dangerous Substance and was sentenced to 1 year with the Louisiana Department of Corrections with credit for time served. Upon release from incarceration, Dubois is to be placed on 2 years supervised probation.
