SERVING ASCENSION, ASSUMPTION & ST. JAMES PARISHES

During the week of August 12 – August 16, 2019, the following defendants pled guilty to various charges and were sentenced in the 23rd Judicial District Court, parishes of Ascension, Assumption, and St. James

Ascension Parish: 

  1. Elizabeth Parker, 13099 L Landry Rd. Gonzales, LA., age 27, pled guilty to Simple Burglary and Attempted Aggravated Flight from an Officer. The defendant was sentenced to 2 years with the Louisiana Department of Corrections with credit for time served, to be suspended, and placed on 2 years supervised probation.
  2. Sedrick Credit, 2108 John St. Gonzales, LA., age 40, pled guilty to Possession with Intent to Distribute a Schedule II Controlled Dangerous Substance (2 counts) and was sentenced to 3 years with the Louisiana Department of Corrections with credit for time served, to be suspended, and placed on 3 years supervised probation.
  3. Micky Barker, 8544 S St. Landry Ave. Gonzales, LA., age 40, pled guilty to Auto Burglary (2 counts) and DWI 2nd Offense. The defendant was sentenced to 5 years with the Louisiana Department of Corrections with credit for time served.
  4. Reece Breaux, 9306 Kurt Kindler Rd. Gonzales, LA., age 27, pled guilty to Simple Burglary (2 counts) and was sentenced to 6 years with the Louisiana Department of Corrections with credit for time served.
  5. Jamie Clements, 16211 Hwy 431 Prairieville, LA., age 47, pled guilty to Illegal Possession of Stolen Firearms, Possession of a Schedule II Controlled Dangerous Substance, and Possession of a Schedule I Controlled Dangerous Substance. The defendant was sentenced to 3 years with the Louisiana Department of Corrections with credit for time served.
  6. Lloyd Geason, 35200 Julien Lane Donaldsonville, LA., age 57, pled guilty to DWI 3rd Offense and was sentenced to 2 ½ years with the Louisiana Department of Corrections with credit for time served.
  7. Creshe Green, 336 E 26th St. Reserve, LA., age 31, pled guilty to Theft Valued at $500 or More, but Less than $1500. The defendant was sentenced to 3 years with the Louisiana Department of Corrections with credit for time served, to be suspended, and placed on 2 years supervised probation.
  8. Lester Mandolph, 432 Corrine Ct. LaPlace, LA., age 41, pled guilty to DWI 3rd Offense and Hit and Run Driving. Sentencing is set for September 6, 2019.
  9. Lehmann Stewart, 3465 Conrad St. Baton Rouge, LA., age 59, pled guilty to Simple Burglary and was sentenced to 7 years with the Louisiana Department of Corrections with credit for time served.
  10. Melissa Tezano, 14035 Poirrier Dr. Gonzales, LA., age 46, pled guilty to Possession of a Schedule I Controlled Dangerous Substance and was sentenced to 4 years with the Louisiana Department of Corrections with credit for time served, to be suspended, and placed on 18 months supervised probation.
  11. Wade Nelson, 514 Charles St. Donaldsonville, LA., age 19, pled guilty to Theft Valued at $1,000 or More, but Less than $5,000. The defendant was sentenced to 2 years with the Louisiana Department of Corrections with credit for time served, to be suspended and placed on 2 years supervised probation.
  12. Willis Trosclair, 1528 Hwy 304 Thibodaux, LA., age 38, pled guilty to Simple Burglary and was sentenced to 5 years with the Louisiana Department of Corrections with credit for time served. It was ordered that 1 year of the said sentence is to be served, and the remaining 4 years are to be suspended. Upon release from incarceration, the defendant is to be placed on 3 years supervised probation.

  1. Jennifer Aldridge, 10205 Lake Park Ave. Gonzales, LA., age 42, pled guilty to Possession of a Schedule II Controlled Dangerous Substance and was sentenced to 2 years with the Louisiana Department of Corrections with credit for time served, to be suspended, and placed on 3 years supervised probation.
  2. Jorge Avila, 1410 S Harrells Ferry Rd. Baton Rouge, LA., age 21, pled guilty to DWI 3rd Offense. Sentencing was deferred to a later date pending a Pre-Sentence Investigation.
  3. Landis Pavey, Palm Coast, FL., age 34, pled guilty to Possession with Intent to Distribute a Schedule I Controlled Dangerous Substance and Possession of a Schedule II Controlled Dangerous Substance. The defendant was sentenced to 10 years with the Louisiana Department of Corrections with credit for time served, to be suspended, and placed on 3 years supervised probation.

The above cases were prosecuted by Assistant District Attorneys Shawn Bush and Phil Maples. Presiding over these matters was the Honorable Judge Thomas Kliebert.

 

Assumption Parish:

  1. Michael Butler, 312 Jefferson St. Napoleonville, LA., age 39, pled guilty to Unauthorized Entry of an Inhabited Dwelling and was sentenced to 3 years with the Louisiana Department of Corrections with credit for time served, to be suspended, and placed on 3 years supervised probation.
  2. Trey Duet, 2917 Ponville Rd. Napoleonville, LA., age 19, pled guilty to Possession of a Schedule II Controlled Dangerous Substance and Aggravated Assault with a Firearm. The defendant was sentenced to 5 years with the Louisiana Department of Corrections with credit for time served, to be suspended, and placed on 3 years supervised probation.
  3. Joshua James, 5700 Levee Hwy Pierre Part, LA., age 32, pled guilty to Possession of a Schedule II Controlled Dangerous Substance and Possession of a Schedule IV Controlled Dangerous Substance. The defendant was sentenced to 3 years with the Louisiana Department of Corrections with credit for time served.
  4. Todd Scott, 120 Rose Lane Labadieville, LA., age 26, pled guilty to Aggravated Flight from an Officer and was sentenced to 1 year with the Louisiana Department of Corrections with credit for time served, to be suspended, and placed on 1 year supervised probation.
  5. Richard Wilson, 6027 James Rd. Sorrento, LA., age 38, pled guilty to DWI 3rd Offense and was sentenced to 5 years with the Louisiana Department of Corrections with credit for time served. It was ordered that 2 years of the said sentence are to be served, and the remaining 3 years are to be suspended. Upon release from incarceration, the defendant is to be placed on 3 years supervised probation.

St. James Parish:

  1. Troy Malbrough, 1214 Lutcher Ave. Lutcher, LA., age 43, pled guilty to Theft Valued at $1,000 or More, but Less than $5,000. The defendant was sentenced to 3 years with the Louisiana Department of Corrections with credit for time served, to be suspended, and placed on 3 years supervised probation.
  2. Glancy Hill, 33821 Cane Market Rd. Walker, LA., age 52, pled guilty to 2nd Degree Battery and was sentenced to 3 years with the Louisiana Department of Corrections with credit for time served, to be suspended, and placed on 3 years supervised probation.
  3. Mandarryl Walters, 202 Ellis St. Gramercy, LA., age 36, pled guilty to Possession of a Firearm by a Convicted Felon (2 counts) and was sentenced to 10 years with the Louisiana Department of Corrections with credit for time served on each count to run concurrent with one another. The said sentence is to be served without benefit of parole, probation, or suspension of sentence.
